Fable & Feast is an independent editorial project published at alchimist.info. We write about restaurants, chefs and the books that share their spirit — and, now and then, we point readers toward an edition we genuinely love.
What we do
We publish features and short essays about food culture. Our current issue is built around Alchemist, the daring Copenhagen restaurant, and Paulo Coelho’s novel The Alchemist, whose theme of transformation gave this magazine its name. We are readers and admirers writing from the outside, not insiders speaking for anyone.
What we are not
To be completely clear: we are not the restaurant Alchemist, and we have no connection to its owners, staff or management. We are not the author, publisher or seller of any book featured here. When we mention a restaurant, a chef or an author, we do so as commentators — for information and editorial purposes only.
We’re simply people who like a good story and a good book, and like to share both.
